Intro
I have been investigating the release of the Australian film "Welcome to Woop Woop".
"Welcome to Woop Woop" is an interesting film to look at for a number of reasons. It claims to be a throw back to the "good old days" of Australian society, the days before "politically correct, cafe latte drinking softies" dominatated our thinking. But is it merely a throw back to a time that never existed, or a time that no one wants to go to? Where does a movie that aims to "offend everyone" sit in relation to these aims, and how does a distributor go about marketing it?
This experimental free form hypertext multimedia extravaganza that you are about to both witness and become involved in will look at the many different facets of Welcome to Woop Woop. These include -
